My stay at Martha's Vineyard Family Campground was an absolute delight from start to finish! The charming two-bedroom cabin I stayed in was the epitome of coziness and comfort, providing the perfect home away from home during my getaway. The surrounding trails added a touch of natural beauty and serenity, allowing me to immerse myself in the breathtaking outdoors. What truly set this campground apart was the convenience of having a small general store right on site. Starting my mornings with a cup of coffee from there became a cherished routine, setting the tone for each adventurous day ahead. Speaking of adventure, the array of activities available catered to everyone, regardless of age. Whether it was engaging in family-friendly games, partaking in group activities, or simply relishing the tranquil atmosphere, there was never a dull moment. This ensured that every member of my family, young and old, had a memorable and enjoyable experience. Martha's Vineyard Family Campground not only provided a memorable place to rest my head, but it also created a haven of joy and connection. If you're seeking a wonderful escape that seamlessly blends comfort, nature, and communal experiences, this campground should be your top choice.

Great stay. We stayed in a large RV site toward the front of the park. The RV sites were a good size with decent tree cover. We arrived on a late ferry after dark and when the owners saw us pulling in they were kind enough to help us back into our site... a first time experience in over 15 years of rv camping! I really appreciated that. The site was immaculate when we arrived and raked clean. The utilities were in the perfect location and seemed to be recently updated. Shore power was excellent. I was getting great steady voltage on my electronic power overload sensor, decent water pressure, and I appreciated the sewer receptical had a spring loaded cap... the first I've seen at an RV park. The park was extremely quiet at night, with the exception of some road noise as the rv sites are out front toward the main road. All in all a great experience and we wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Awesome family oriented campground with very professional and friendly staff. Michael, Allie, Bree, and Brenden. Small bathrooms but some of the cleanest I’ve ever experienced at a campground. Two room cabin was very clean and was great sleeping quarters. Awesome playground for kids and grounds are well maintained. And Lauren is an awesome Recreation Activities Director!!

Had an amazing time at MVFC. The cabin was perfect for our needs. The outdoor space was fabulous with a firepit, propane grill, and grill utensils. The camp store has everything you could possibly need. The common social space has live music and other fun events. The bathrooms were extremely clean. The outdoor showers were super comfortable. Would 100% go again!

We have been camping with our pull behind trailer for about 2-3 months every Summer for 4 years..Have stayed in about 40 different states including Canada so we feel qualified to say MVFC is the BEST! Very clean! Friendly staff! Very attentive to making your experience the best possible! Especially great for families..a lot of activities for kids as well as adults including live music and outdoor big screen movies...also located on the bike path...we will definitely be back! ❤️ Dennis and Lu

As a frequent car camper in New England I have a few favorite campgrounds that I find hit the sweat spot. The MV Family Campground is at the top of that list. It has wonderfully wooded campsites, hot showers and *clean* bathrooms. In the evening there is often a large fire going where other guests gather. The camp store has any essentials we might have forgotten. The staff is always super helpful and has always helped us make the most of our time on the island. We have visited the campground with our car and that makes the logistics easier of course, but when we haven’t been to get a car reservation we have just gone over in “backpacking mode” and used the bus to get around the island (and eaten most meals out). It makes for a (reasonably) affordable way to enjoy MV!

What a beautiful place this campground is. We stayed for a week in a 2-room cabin in August of 2020. COVID-19 restrictions were in full effect, but we still enjoyed our time at the campground very much. It is very clean, stuff is super from and accommodating. Toilets and showers are clean and conveniently located. We loved outdoor showers, they are more spacious and during a day filled with sun. MVFC is conveniently located close to many destinations. We had a car with us. If you plan to take yours, make sure you book your ferry early since spaces might be unavailable as summer approaches. We booked ours in January. Worked beautifully. Because of that we were able to visit few beaches on the same day, go to Chappaquiddick Island twice (HIGHLY recommended), Edgartown, Chilmark, Menemsha, Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Heaven, Tisbury among others. We loved our stay at MVFC and hope to come back next year.

The campground is very well kept. The stuff is very helpful and everyone is trying to adjust to COVID rules. It’s hard to keep the distance in the restroom area but they have showers outside as well. They started serving coffee again post COVID restrictions in disposable cups. Coffee is very good, starts at 8 am. Lots of activities for kids and adults, music nights. We did not cook on the site still had a few skunks visiting, sniffing around, completely harmless. I was told nobody was ever sprayed in the campground, some people even pet them. As first-time visitors to MV I got a map at the shop while checking in and the lady kindly marked the must-see places. Visited almost all of them and wow, loved all the hikes and views. It’s nice to have guidance when you only have a few days to explore. Thank you to the people and the campground for their dedication and providing a possibility for regular income people to explore the lovely island.
